...MELT INTO YOU by Roni Loren

MELT INTO YOU by Roni Loren is emotional, intense, and sexy. I loved it!

Disclaimer:
I love talking books. I do not know how to review them; I've never been good at it, but I do enjoy sharing my thoughts about books I enjoy, and that's what I plan to do here.

I adored the first book in Roni Loren's Loving on the Edge series (CRASH INTO YOU), so this book was an autobuy for me. Wow, did it ever blow me out of the water.

The characters!

Evan grew up in foster care and still harbors issue from her past. Jace experienced deep betrayal and can't trust anyone with his heart. And then there's the sweet-yet-powerful-yet-OMIGODSEXY Andre, who has secrets of his own. The love between them is powerful and real, and I can't decide who is my favorite.

My thoughts on the book!

First off, SEVERAL times in the story I remember thinking, "Evan is the luckiest girl in the entire world." I love this book. I wanted these damaged characters to find happiness and I thoroughly enjoyed their journey. The anticipation and longing between Evan and Jace began very early on in the story, and I couldn't put down my Nook for needing to see how these three were going to finally get together. Roni Loren has an expert way of making even non-smexy scenes hum with sexual tension, and I love the emotion that made everything they did more meaningful and risky and heartbreaking. I don't usually read a book from cover to cover without stopping, but my eyes were glued to my Nook!

Sex! Lots and lots of it!

This book is so hot, I thought my Nook would short-circuit. Roni Loren has a superb way of making me feel completely comfortable reading hardcore scenes, and portraying BDSM in a way that's accessible and fun. Just when I wondered if there was something I might not enjoy reading about, I found myself hoping for more--and this book delivered. The D/s world is thoroughly explored, and I couldn't have been happier to join Evan, Jace, and Andre on The Ranch.

In conclusion!

I read MELT INTO YOU by Roni Loren in one sitting. Anguished characters who find comfort and love in each other and learn to trust, hot sex (and I do mean hot!)--everything about this story worked for me. I highly recommend it!

  1. I am pretty sure that Andre is my favorite character. He is SO amazing. And that scene when he drops by her studio because he just wants to see her... *swoon*
